First Step Towards MEGA PROJECT:
Since March 2020, Covid-19 affected all of us in every aspect. Pakistan being underdeveloped country suffered Economical crises. Middle class and lower-class families met financial challenges and some of the main reasons are that they were depending on only one source of income and only one person had all responsibility of bread and butter of the whole family.
Problem Statement: Due to the lack of knowledge of self-employment or lack of awareness about entrepreneurship, people who were relying on a single source of income, unemployed and the families in which all were dependent on one person seen financial crash during lock-down.
Steps Taken During Research:
- Searched and specified a problem that needs to be resolved. According to Steve Jobs,
“If you define the problem correctly, you almost have the solution.”
2. Got in touch with people to whom the problem is related. Such as:
· Freshly Graduates:
After graduation when they can’t get a job, at that point they get stuck because no one taught them about entrepreneurship and self-employment, all they know about is a ‘JOB’.
So, when I tried to find the reason behind this mindset, it made me to talk to a student of Grade 7 to know about their goals and what do they know about earning. He told me the same path and that after completing studies with good grades he will get a job in a company and other than that there is no way.
· Patriarch of a Family:
Just like what Warren Buffet said that,
“If your salary is the only source of income then you are one step away from poverty.”
We have experienced all that in last year and still suffering because we don’t have any knowledge about self-employment and investment.
· Females:
“When women thrive, all of society benefits and succeeding generations are given better start.” -Kofi Annan. They can start online earning if they are provided with all the proper knowledge and instructions.
My Experience of this research:
We all know economic crises of our country and whenever we want to play our part in betterment of society, all we think is giving money and stuff to poor. This research made me to dive deep in current situation and find the main reasons behind the crises. We are responsible of our situations so we have to change it by changing our ways of life.
